Ibrahim El-Salahi: A Visionary Modernist

-The Tate Modern is hosting an exhibition-Ibrahim El-Salahi: A Visionary Modernist Which is the The first Tate Modern exhibition dedicated to African Modernism traces the life and work of Ibrahim El-Salahi. This major retrospective brings together 100 works from across more than five decades of his international career. The exhibition highlights one of the most significant figures in African and Arab Modernism and reveals his place in the context of a broader, global art history. And the exhibition is presenting this artist’s personal journey, beginning in Sudan in the 1950’s and followed by his international schooling at the Slade School in London. After a period of research and self-discovery, he returned to Sudan in 1957.There, he established a new Sudanese visual vocabulary, which arose from his own pioneering integration of Islamic, African, Arab and Western artistic traditions. El-Salahi lived in Qatar before settling in England in the 1990s. His recent paintings reflect his joy for life, his deep spiritual faith, and a profound recognition of his place in the world.

-I have watched a short film about the artist introducing this exhibition and his exclusive art experience, the artist pointed that his paintings just like a new-born baby, and he doesn`t wanna name his artworks because on his opinion, the victors will give their own feelings, and let victors name the paintings, the artist doesn`t wanna lead victors thoughts. After all, art is freedom.

I`VE BEEN WAITING FOR A MOMENT LIKE THIS

-Frankly,i do think we bloggers blog or release a post because of we enjoy blogging. And there is no exception in my case.In every field people set up a specific award to commend those outstanding persons, oscar for actors, grammy for singers, and in blog industry definitely it`s bloglovin award.

I know people who writes blog will not get strange to bloglovin,we could follow some beloved blogs  and spread our blogs with it.And i am here to tell that bloglovin award is a fresh new thing to me,i admit that i was a kind of very new blogger less than one year. But when knowing this blog award even seeing some of my favorite fashion bloggers have received this exclusive award really makes me so excited, meanwhile feel Jealous.Of course i feel excited because i do love fashion things, do love blogging and do love those exceptional bloggers who indeed successfully combine their personal personality and fashion culture within their views.Maybe this sounds a little bit abnormal that i said i feel jealous about the bloglovin award winners, but please forgive me for this, this is absolutely an inspirational award to very blogger either the experienced ones or the new ones-just like me.And i must say i`ve been waiting for a moment like this for a long long time.I desire people notice my fashion talent and my specific fashion views. If you have subscribed my website you will love it,i am here dare say my website is as beautiful and professional as some famous websites,if you do not think so i think you need to check your taste.

Yes,a famous fashion blogger or a famous fashion website should has its own characteristic that different from some other blogs. Here i wanna create a word, that is "blognality",it is easy to explain, just like everybody has its own personality which makes us so unique so personal, and this explanation also happened to blog,"blognality"is what makes one blog unique and makes your blog has personal style.Thinking about some widely known blogs such as Bryanboy,Fashiontoast, and The Manrepeller, why they are famous ? I would like to visit their blogs thousands of times every day, because here are something i could learn, learn what and how makes a beautiful and professional website. For their professional fashion views and their specific website style, also their contribution to fashion industry, they are deserve to win.

And now i am thinking a thing, that is maybe one day i could win my bloglovin award just as those top fashion bloggers do,i do believe my blog will, and for what reasons makes this dream come true i am not sure,i think only the bloglovin award judges and my blog fans can be sure.

Rihanna Turns Into A Chameleon On Her Diamonds Tour

-Rihanna`s new world tour-Diamonds tour is under way,i usually pay more attention to the stage comtumes  than the concert itself. At least, i think the comtumes should perfectly match the concert`s theme.I write
this post because of this reason.Rihanna is a lucky one,she has her stylist Mel Ottenberg on hands to ensure her stage looks changeable, and even featuring a group of seven designers couldn`t be more cool. Those designers including(Riccardo Tisci, Raf Simons, Alber Elbaz, and Adam Selman—Rihanna’s River Island collaborator_)They all together make Rihanna a Chameleon on the stage. And make the concert more perfectly match the theme.

Me And My Blog

Hello there,it has been two and half months since i started to write my personal blog-Fashion&Culture Magazine. And i realize that i should have a introduction of me and my dear blog to all my freinds and to the persons i do not know.My borth name is Wang XiaoLiang,Royal is my english name,a chinese,i am so proud of my Nationality.i could remember when i was about 9 or 10 my anut who has a labor service in  singapore came back, one day she was making up,especially her eye makeup later i know it is called smoky eye,but at that moment i do know what the hell was that. What is a sure thing is that it is so beautiful, fabulous. From that moment i come to have a big crash on all the beautiful things.I`ve been enjoyed watching my aunt making up and dressing up for hours. Thanks to her, leaded me to the fashion world. To be frank i do think she is my first teacher of fashion stuff.Sometime i often think i was born to do fashion. The point is what kind of job to choose from fahion and culture? Tell you what,my frist chose is fashion designer,i do get talent, yes,but after a long time i realize that mang persons get taltent on fashion, good taste, personal style.looking around all the successful designers, they all get a higher level on fashion taste, feeling,or taltent.i am just in the middle level,so i think i can`t stand out among these fucking perverted supertalent monsters. The moment you will success depends on how long you will realize what kind of person you are.So since my passion on fashion and culture will never fade away i turn my forcus on fashion writing,Publishing industry.Reading fashion magazine for 7 years, magazine has a magic to me.i decide to be a fashion editor, work for a fashion magazine.I am the one who always talk the talk and walk the walk.On january,i built my personal blog-Fashion&Culture Magazine.I believe where there is specific fashion ,where there is a specific culture. So in my blog,i will combine fashion and culture together to show a fashion and culture issue.Fashion can not exist without culture, nether does culture. My blog is a two and half months baby,so it is immature. It needs me to make it perfect, and needs everybody to spur it on.Now i am in milan for further eduction, learning italian and english. When out of school i post my blog and i feel plenitude when posting.

From serpents on silk to labyrinths on linen—the advancements of digital printing and textile development is allowing designers to further their visions on cloth. Before the technology was favored by Alexander McQueen, digital printing was first used in the carpet industry in the 1970s and then later on large format banners in the '80s. It finally found its place in fashion in the early 1990s.

Issey Miyake was one of the first to seize the cloth tactic for his Guest Artist Series, but Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 collection, Plato’s Atlantis, put digital printing on the fashion map. The mastermind created 37 looks of scaled-serpent prints that seemed to sliver with the motion of the models. Phoenix Art Museum's new exhibition, Digital Print Fashion, which opened this week, captures the best of what ink-jet printers can provide........
