Pop Culture Was In Art Now,Art In Pop Culture In Lady GaGa

-I quote and make a little bit change of a sentence form the lyric of Lady GaGa`s New Single-Applause as the title of this post, after i listened to this single and read the lyric many times,i think Pop Culture" was what GaGa wanna us to understand. And when GaGa saying art in pop culture in me",Obviously explains GaGa`s self-identity.Pop culture in art,and art in pop culture" was an attitude of GaGa`s music, and i guess but not sure this single-Applause,maybe is GaGa is calling for the whole world to applause for music and her form of performance.I do not know much about Pop culture" (which i need to do a lot of researches later),momentarily ignore this, for this Applause" single,i very enjoy it both for the melody and the pop culture in the music video.I make some images from "Applause" music video which you can see below, and at the bottom of this post you can watch the "Applause" music video.Applause for Lady GaGa or not,it is up to you,but i do applause for her.I really want to Bang The Gong for you-Lady GaGa.

Safety-Pin Dress

Elizabeth Hurley wears Versace black Safety-Pin dress,1994.

-Elizabeth Hurley wore a black Versace dress, often referred to as "That Dress", when she accompanied Hugh Grantto the premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral in 1994. The dress was held together by several oversized gold safety pins. The dress is perhaps Versace's best-known creation, and is considered by some to be largely responsible for launching Hurley onto the global media stage.

Wisdom Language

21/08/2013

-The potential of fashion is to create work and jobs in which many people find self-expression.

-Clothing is often an expression of your life.

-Ideas are the currency for success along with value for money, innovation not imitation, authenticity and a new ethical awareness.with fashion today the choice is massive:from laser to hand-out,from stitch to weld, from man-made to nature-made,organic or chemical, sustainability is the new byword, which could see us all recycling our wardrobe within the next decade.

-Fashion has never before produced so much stuff and the current crunch has forced us all to re-evaluate our spending habits.

-People don`t just want to replace something they already have in their wardrobe. They want to have a fresh input-something unique-and that is what gets these designers out of bed each day.

History Lesson 3

Oscar Red Carpet-
85 YEARS OF GOLDEN GLAMOUR

-Time machine dates back to May 16, 1929,the time when the  very first Academy Awards ceremony was held.Since then,Oscars kept retaining its unrivaled cultures.Among those culture, must mention the ocars red carpet culture, every year, ocars red carpet has attracted millions of attention over 200 countries. We can surely admit that the red carpet is a gluttonous feast before the Academy Awards ceremony.

OSCARS BEST FASHION MOMENTS

-Elle Magazine has released an issue about the oscars red carpet culture and the exculsive oscars fashion moments. In the issue, the readers can have comprehensive awareness of the red carpet culture and some other fashion moments.

-Quoted from Elle-The very first Academy Awards ceremony, held on May 16, 1929 at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel, was an intimate dinner for 270 entertainment industry insiders. Today, the Oscars are watched by hundreds of millions of fans in over 200 countries around the world. But in all these years, one thing hasn’t changed: the fashions worn by the event’s attendees garner as much attention as the awards themselves.

JANET GAYNOR, IN 1929

Janet Gaynor, winner of the Best Actress award at the first-ever Academy Awards, wore an off-the-rack knit dress with a Peter Pan collar to the ceremony. The dress likely came from a children’s clothing store—since Gaynor stood five feet tall and weighed less than 100 pounds, it was difficult for her to find clothes that fit. Her sweetly casual frock was, of course, a universe away from the elaborately formal gowns worn by today’s Oscar winners. "Being the first year, the Academy had no background or tradition," said Gaynor, whose Oscar was for her work in three films. "Had I known then what it would come to mean in the next few years, I’m sure I would have been overwhelmed."

AUDREY HEPBURN, IN 1954

Hepburn accepted her Best Actress statue (for Roman Holiday) wearing a delicate floral-patterned belted dress by Hubert de Givenchy featuring the boat-neck style Hepburn favored. Hepburn was Givenchy's muse—and this dress was a perfect example of the designer's ability to craft clothes that reflected the gamine actress's unique blend of sophistication and sweetness. "She was wonderful," Givenchy recently said of Hepburn. "She had it all."

ELIZABETH TAYLOR, IN 1970

One of Taylor's most iconic fashion moments, this violet-colored chiffon dress, designed by Edith Head, matched the actress’s mesmerizing violet eyes. The look was completed with violet eyeshadow, and Taylor’s own 69-carat diamond necklace, a gift from her husband Richard Burton, who was nominated that year for Best Actor for his work inAnne of The Thousand Days(Taylor was not nominated that year). When Burton originally purchased the pear-shaped diamond it was set in a ring, "but even for me it was too big," Taylor explained, "so we had Cartier design a necklace."
