News Based On TheVogue Fr:Jerome Coste is the latest designer to add helmets to their repertoire, following in the wake of Maison Martin Margiela and Karl Lagerfeld. Three helmet designs have been born of a collaboration between brand Ateliers Ruby and Parisian artists Ill Studio.
For their sixth Signature program conceptualized along with other renowned artists, Ateliers Ruby has collaborated with Ill Studio to create four limited edition paint-splattered helmets. Ill Studio, founded in 2007 by Léonard Vernhet and Thomas Subreville, is a creative studio specializing in animation, typography, graphics, photography, and general artistic endeavors. Having already collaborated with Louis Vuitton, GQ magazine and Cire Trudon, the collection signifies the inauguration of Venetia, the brand new motif from Ateliers Ruby - flecks of blue, yellow and red against a background of white or black - which takes pride of place on the three styles of helmet. The Pavillon style has a vintage feel and is available in black or white for 850 euros, and the Belvédère has a removable visor, and is on sale for 1000 euros. Finally le Castel, a five year-old original Ruby design, is available with the Venecia motif in white for €1,250. The Ateliers Ruby x Ill Studio helmets are on sale in the Ruby boutique at 1, rue Herold in Paris, online at www.ateliersruby.com, at Paris boutique Colette and on their website www.colette.fr.
