Essay on Vivienne Westwood X Opening Ceremony

 It is a second generation of Westwood’s Chelsea boutique , yet a new overture of Opening Ceremony`s concept .


It is named " worlds end " collection  , which inspired by Vivienne Westwood `s chelsea boutique . long before , at King`s Road , Punk queen took her accomplice Malcolm McLaren started to create the rebel punk concept , through the collection like "Hung On You" in 1967 , " Mr Freedom " in 1969. From 70`s Vivienne`s signature on Punk-rock concept was developed . "Let it rock" in 1971, "Sex" in 1974 , "Seditionaries" in 1977, "Worlds end" in 1980 . looks from girl wearing a white top with her butt naked tucked a cigarette , and a young girl was wearing that universe T-shirt "Destroy" . The store with the decorations - Huge logo "Sex" hanged highly, those signs like skulls were seen somewhere . Models or Vivienne herself posturing with confidently fearsome face expressions .

Opening Ceremony , a creative recently-founded label , looking for brand new concept for collection . The arrive of cooperation "Worlds end" is a collision between Vivienne`s iconic designs and Opening Ceremony`s compatible attitude , launching in a new epoch , suitable for new costumer-generation .

Based on Wonderland , the collection includes the SS10 Drunk Anarchy Shirt, the SS82 Savage Jumper, the AW83 Clint Eastwood Bomber Jacket and the square cut and toga shirts, Pirate Trousers, Achilles Shorts and the Sex Twister T-shirt printed with the chaos print. Unisex vests and t-shirts make an appearance and the Tongue Trainer, the first trainer to be worn down the the catwalk in AW83 have been reissued. 



And the "Worlds end" will be on shelves from February 9th 2015.
